Targeting the logistics, transport, warehouse, mining and construction industry your key focus will involve new business development, account management and ultimately ensuring that revenue deliverables and achieved across your given territory.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
- New business development targeting the logistics, transport, warehouse, mining and construction industry
- Identify other opportunities through leveraging reference points within logistics, transport, warehouse, mining and construction industry
- Generate new business opportunities via phone activity
- Negotiate volume. price point and delivery of product
- Present value proposition in a face to face format
- Discuss terms of business and gain acceptance
- Attend weekly and monthly sales meeting (via phone) with direct report
- Report on sales activity, pipeline and forecast
- Adhere to revenue deliverables across given territory
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Strong negotiation skills
- An ability to influence buying behaviour at a senior level and navigate through the bureaucratic and political complexities of prospective clients
- Demonstrated success selling capital equipment
- The willingness to leverage reference points within established clients and cross pollinate
- A sound understanding of logistics, transport, warehouse, mining and construction industry?
- Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
- A driving need to help others; identifying gaps, presenting value and appropriate solutions
- Outcomes orientated by nature
