Cape Fear region people serving in the military: Nov. 4

National Guard Pvt. Latravette S. Peacock, daughter of Teresa McDougald of Dunn and Deborah Peacock of Smithfield, has graduated from Army basic training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. She is a 2011 graduate of Triton High School, Erwin.

Pfc. Daquan M. Folk, son of Tonisha Folk of Fayetteville and James Ruffin of Allentown, Pa., has graduated from basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C.

Pvt. Tony D. Pone, son of Tony and Amanda Pone of Shannon, has graduated from One Station Unit Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Waynesville, Mo., which included Army basic military training and advanced individual training. He is a 2007 graduate of St. Pauls High School.

Pvt. Jasmine I. Oglesby, daughter of Veronica McMillian and Paul Oglesby, both of Fayetteville, has graduated from Army basic training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. She is a 2010 graduate of Cape Fear High School.

Pvt. Genesis H. Roberts, daughter of Bernadette Donovan of Fayetteville and Ronald Roberts of Hinesville, Ga., has graduated from Army basic training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. She is a 2007 graduate of South View High School.

Pvt. Marcus A. Davis, son of Lavinia L. Grace of Saginaw, Mich., and Warren A. Davis of Fayetteville, has graduated from basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C. He is a 2012 graduate of Seventy-First High School.

Pfc. Adam A. Ignacio, son of Lisa and Gene Cottrell of Red Springs, has graduated from basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C. He is a 2012 graduate of Red Springs High School.

Pvt. Casey Aguinaga, son of Serena Aguinaga of Spring Lake, has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. He is a 2011 graduate of Overhills High School, Spring Lake.

Pvt. Aaron T. Morrison, son of Mamie Williams and Brian Morrison, both of Fayetteville, has graduated from Army basic training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. He is a 2010 graduate of Douglas Byrd High School.

Pfc. Thomas W. Shaw, son of Peggy A. King of Pittsboro and Dwight A. Shaw of Spring Lake, has graduated from basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C.
